Sister Acts
Since the days of vaudeville family acts, sisters have teamed up as performers. As a brother to five sisters, I can understand why. There is something special and unique about sisters, especially when they were born in close range. They have a cosmic connection akin to twins. My sisters could almost be quintuplets. In early days it often took a mother’s strong hand to promote her daughters as an entertainment unit. In more recent times, the sisters themselves see the efficacy of performing together. Is talent genetic? Certainly not! Talent is the result of determination and perseverance. But it is not rare. Consider all the sister acts that dreamed big and worked hard to make it in showbiz but never got a big break. It is to them I dedicate this list.
